上海气候周是由百余家全球生态伙伴共同倡议发起，联合国和中国政府给予支持，政、商、学、社各类组织共同参与，以上海城市为背景，联合打造的具有全球影响力的应对气候变化交流与合作平台。
Shanghai Climate Week is jointly initiated by over one hundred global eco-partners, supported by the United Nations and the Chinese government, involving participation from various sectors including politics, business, academia, and civil society. With Shanghai as thebackdrop, it jointly creates a globally influential platform for climatechange exchanges and cooperation.
上海气候周以“中国行动、亚洲声音、世界标准”为宗旨，旨在促进社会多层次参与中国双碳目标承诺，向世界讲述应对气候变化行动的中国故事，传递绿色转型的亚洲声音，加大气候变化领域国际交流与合作，参与国际规则制定和引领。
Operating under the theme “China Action, Asia Voice, Global Standard," Shanghai Climate Week seeks to enhance multi-level social participation in China's dual-carbon commitments, share China's cli-mate action narrative, amplify Asia's voice in green transformation,strengthen international exchanges in climate change, and contribute to the formulation of global standards.
上海气候周在2024年春天开启了首届年度活动,吸引了海内外各界积极广泛参与。上海气候周也相继设立专项公益基金,与联合国训练研究所合作成立了繁荣联盟上海中心,在国家工信部中国中小企业国际合作协会下辖组织设立绿色发展与环境资源工作委员会等国际国内专业服务工作平台,同时气候周内部也设置相关功能中心和专业委员会,来自全球企业、学院、社会组织近百位专业志愿者热心为上海气候周从事公益服务工作。
In spring 2024, Shanghai Climate Week launched its inauguralannual event, drawing widespread participation worldwide. SHCW has also established a special public welfare fund, partnered with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research to create the Prosperity Alliance Shanghai Center, and set up professional service plat-forms such as the Green Development and Environmental Resources Working Committee under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Additionally, functional centers and professional committees within Climate Week leverage the expertise of nearly one hundred dedicated volunteers from global enterprises, academic institutions, and social organizations.
